This blog spot (1940AR) is a continued effort to facilitate a forum for all of the very special women who at some point in time made the decision to become a part of a very significant Legacy. The oldest group of our significance in the state of Arkansas. Because we are one of the smaller groups of the state, this effort is not impossible.
Similar to the emails you have received from me over the years, it is here where that information will come from. Not only will I be able to send messages, this blog spot allows many other options such as pictures, and links to other information as well. Most importantly, each one of you are able to do the same!
This is a place for Sisterly Relations, sharing wisdom, experiences, advice, always encouraging and uplifting your sister. Whether you contribute one word or one page, if it comes from a place of love, pain, happiness or simply life in general, you are sure to touch at least one person. Lastly (for now), please make every effort to get to know one another, some of us do not have to look any further than our own neighborhood. But don't stop there, make an effort to get to know as many as you can. Please do not let age or generation be a barrier, one of the greatest motivators for me beginning this was to bridge the gap between the "more seasoned" sisters and our (affectionately noted) "baby" sisters.
I look forward to sharing the details of my passion for this effort, stemming from love for my sisters and our Legacy. Through our individual battles with self-discovery, we can and will find common ground, encouragement, support, affirmation, strength and sisterly love here.
