That time of year is quickly approaching.....
PSC HOMECOMING 2011!!!!
I checked with PSC's web site and it is not yet reflecting the exact dates of Homecoming this year (go figure?). However, if I were to guess, I'd say Homecoming will likely follow the same time frame as last years. Here is the link for you to periodically check to confirm the date:

So...here goes yet another opportunity to reflect our growth and unity. Ideas, suggestions, etc. are welcomed here! You will soon find that I will be sharing a lot of ideas and hopes for this event....it will be important that all Ladies interested be willing to participate and contribute in the respected areas of your gift and talents to this effort. And please know, that does not always have to be monetarily (but those of you that are able....I'm sure it would be put to good use!)

REMEMBERING AND CELEBRATING....
....LOVE, NO MATTER WHAT
I am faith-filled and fear-free because . . .
I am a celebration of love.
Beneath all the pain, the disappointment, the resentment and fear that your life will never be as you want it to be, there is love. There is a memory of the touch, the feel, the excitement of love. There is a yearning to know and experience that expression of love. Go there! Be there! Rest there! Celebrate the love that you buried in your heart.
When you celebrate love, the unconditional love that lies beneath all the experiences you have witnessed and participated in, you find a degree of understanding that diminishes mental and emotional anguish. The love beneath the hurt and pain of your life will not allow you to blame anyone. It will stop you from judging yourself and others. The love beneath your pain and the fear of pain will help you to become aware of all the things that you told yourself about love that were just fantasies. Love will remind you not to be upset when the fantasy is revealed. It will remind you of the truth you knew in the first place. The love that lies beneath what happened, however is happened, will remind you that you haven't been rejected, abandoned, abused or defeated. You were simply being given and opportunity to remember that there is a place within you in which you can find everything you need or thought you lost or wished that you had more of. Go there now! Be there now! Rest there now! The only thing that you need to do to find the love in you is to remember. God's love has brought you this far.
Until today, you may have forgotten that beneath everything that you have experienced, there is God's love. Just for today, look for the love within and beneath every experience. Remember all of the love that you have given and received. Fill your heart and mind with thoughts of love. Then celebrate yourself for recognizing love.
Today I am devoted to remembering and celebrating love no matter what else is going on!

Welcome Ladies....
This blog spot (1940AR) is a continued effort to facilitate a forum for all of the very special women who at some point in time made the decision to become a part of a very significant Legacy. The oldest group of our significance in the state of Arkansas. Because we are one of the smaller groups of the state, this effort is not impossible.
Similar to the emails you have received from me over the years, it is here where that information will come from. Not only will I be able to send messages, this blog spot allows many other options such as pictures, and links to other information as well. Most importantly, each one of you are able to do the same!
This is a place for Sisterly Relations, sharing wisdom, experiences, advice, always encouraging and uplifting your sister. Whether you contribute one word or one page, if it comes from a place of love, pain, happiness or simply life in general, you are sure to touch at least one person. Lastly (for now), please make every effort to get to know one another, some of us do not have to look any further than our own neighborhood. But don't stop there, make an effort to get to know as many as you can. Please do not let age or generation be a barrier, one of the greatest motivators for me beginning this was to bridge the gap between the "more seasoned" sisters and our (affectionately noted) "baby" sisters.
I look forward to sharing the details of my passion for this effort, stemming from love for my sisters and our Legacy. Through our individual battles with self-discovery, we can and will find common ground, encouragement, support, affirmation, strength and sisterly love here.
